It's scheduled to be on farmland that we urgently need as a country. It will reduce the biodiversity of the area needed for not just the farmland taken up but neighbouring farms. It will be of detriment to the habits of wildlife needed for the balance of nature, the success of our farming, and life as as a country. Concrete piling will damage the quality of the land, so it won't be as useful for farming as now after the life of the solar project expires. And so the list of problems goes on. Creating energy at the cost of us no longer being food self-sufficient will not be progress. We need solar panels on roofing not farmland. I am also concerned that the visual impact of the project on people's psychology and the cost of this for the NHS and social services is not being given due consideration.
