Project is too large. Solar energy is inefficient given this countries old levels of sunlight and ambient temperatures. We should be concentrating on wind, power and nuclear power. Government should also be making homes more efficient and encouraging subsidies to allow this. Local infrastructure is unsuitable for such a large project, roads are not wide enough to allow such heavy machinery to use them to access the sites around the area, My concerns are with potential future use of batteries which have a fire risk record, use very expensive minerals that have to be mined elsewhere in the world and which are difficult to break down and if they get into the soil structure would be environmentally be a disaster. Essendine in the past has had its own problems with chemical fires, which have affected the area badly . Need to ensure we keep producing our own food. Currently shortages show how volatile supplies are and how at the mercy of other countries we could be in the future. We must stay self-sufficient.
