As a doctor, She is very aware of the mental health issues that people struggle with as a result of not being able to walk in countryside and improve their well-being. This area would be covered with solar panels and large areas of footpaths would be walking through corridors of high, security, fencing, cameras, and lighting, this will be a disaster for local residents. Biodiversity would be seriously affected there would be a loss of habitat species of plants would be disturbed and some perhaps we die out in this area. The traffic has been a problem in the village of Essendine for many years . The disruption of heavy plant machinery being manoeuvred through the narrow rural road surrounding the village would be horrific for residents, wildlife and anybody simply trying to get through the village. There are better alternative ways of generating energy and solar, we should be developing other methods such as wind farms . The carbon footprint for building the solar farm will be huge given that the panels would be built in China and shippedacross vast oceans. The Chinese record on human rights with their workers is poor and should not be encouraged. There are huge amounts of metals and minerals that need to be mined in order to make solar panels and the breakdown of these over many years could have a direct effect on soil conditions And may prevent the rich agricultural land in this area from ever being used again for production.
