Essendine will be totally surrounded by solar panels in turn transforming the town from a rural town into an industrial town. The solar panels are overdeveloped which will create visual and audio implications. Essendine, being on a hill, is susceptible to flooding and this risk would be increased. Battery storage is a major hazard to town residents. Farming land would be under-utilised, wildlife would be affected and there would be light pollution at night. Recent government policy was not to develop such large solar projects which ruin the countryside.
