I am opposed to the proposition of the solar farm as I feel that it will have a massive impact on the area in which I live. We live in a beautiful part of the country which will be spoilt by such an infrastructure. We live in the smallest county which will be taken up by a large area of solar panels. The impact of this will damage local woodland, countryside and wildlife. I don't want to be looking out on solar panels instead of fields. The noise emitting from these will also have an effect on myself and local wildlife. There are the issues of the day to day construction which we will have to contend with... I don't want to live in a building site!! The farmland around the villages which are used for growing crops and arable land will be destroyed. This in a time when we need as much local produce being grown as possible. Then there is the issue of what happens further down the line in 25 plus years when the panels are no longer required... Just being left to waste is a huge environmental problem. We need to protect the environment, the wildlife, the rural areas in which we live.
