The scale and complexity of this project is much too large for a rural community with limited infrastructure and roadways to support either the build or the maintenance of such a project. The impact of taking farmland out of operation whilst other options exist is preposterous. The potential change to local landscape is overwhelming and the impact on the wellbeing of residents is grossly underestimated. The overall approach by Mallard pass on this plan appears disingenuous at best and should be referred for review. Alternative less impactful solutions are available and whilst these may prove less profitable for investors it is time that sustainable energy solutions are considers on their ultimate merits rather than profit.
