Serious concerns about the use of prime agricultural land and food security. The current shortage of some fresh items highlights the dependency of this country on imported fresh food. As well as chronic dependency on imports, there are environmental issues in respect of transport by air and sea. The integrity of the supply chain for the solar panel materials also demands close scrutiny especially when the US have banned trading with some companies.
