1.Mallard Pass would be the largest Solar Plant in the UK to date. Much greater consideration is required to assess the impact this project might have. 2.Compulsory acquisition rights were not made clear during the consultation period. As such the whole consultation process should be scrapped or at least start again. 3.[Redacted] is known to have human rights abuses in it's supply chains, It is not fit to run a project of this nature in the UK. 4. There are substantial concerns over the financial record of [Redacted] leadership team and their suitability to construct a project of this size, As such a large security deposit should be taken if the project were to take place to safeguard the eventual clear up and restoration of the land. 5.Government guidance is clear that energy projects should not be built on BMV land. I understand that the test results for some of this land has been downgraded and should be independently verified and is most likely in breach of Government guidance to developers. 6.Agricultural land is a key part of the UK's and this areas heritage and requires protection. This application does not justify a loss of this asset on this scale or demonstrate that the land will ever return to farming production. 7.The rural road network is not appropriate to accommodate the level of traffic this development would require. If it goes forward the developer should be made to make significant improvements to the road system before any other work commences. 8.The loss of Natural Environment and Biodiversity is too higher price to pay for one community alone. This should be fairly spread around the country and focussed on rooftops, brownfield sites etc 9.The unreasonable size of this development and the fundamental changes to the landscape and communities affected will negatively impact the Mental and Physical health of residents. 10. Local businesses reliant on the tourism of this beautiful area will suffer greatly. The lifestyle and types of employment that the area has enjoyed for centuries will be destroyed forever.
