Concerns about the length and scale of project. No benefits for local people. The use of good agricultural land. Environmental effects - e.g. on people, flora and fauna, visual aspects, traffic noise and pollution upon both the local and wider community, noise pollution during construction and ongoing admission from site, concerns about recycling with spent and damaged units, pollution of shipment of panels and goods into the country, light pollution, damage to present infrastructure (roads, grass verges, etc). Lack of transparency with compulsory acquisitions. Concerns over manufacture, company ethics and supply chains.
