Mallard Pass Solar Farm is in the wrong location and it will destroy forever a vast area of high-grade agricultural land. The old RAF base at Woolfox Lodge would surely be a far better location for a development of this kind as it has the access, infrastructure and connectivity required to construct on this scale already on hand. The negatives far outweigh any positives and the impact of this development makes a mockery of any claims of long-term benefits or environmental sustainability made by the developers.
