I object to the Mallard Pass Solar Project being approved because of the following: Loss of valuable prime farmland at a time when we need to produce more food not less. Contrary to Government policy. Increased annual flooding due to water run off from the panels onto compacted soil and rivers incapable of accepting any more water downstream. Already accepted as a high risk possibility by the developers. Loss of local amenities, disruption and loss of wildlife and birds, pleasant country walks through the beautiful Lincolnshire and Rutland countryside, Heavy construction and maintenance traffic on unsuitable roads causing danger to life. Danger to schools and children. Heavy soiling of main traffic roads due to mud and contamination. Non disclosure of important information and lack of attendance at public and private meetings with Local MP's Councilors, residents, and interested parties. Late disclosure of Compulsory Purchase Orders on residential properties, roads and social areas. Integrity, capability and openness of developers. [Redacted] - Competence of Directors, Expertise and Liquidity of past and present companies. [Redacted] - a Chinese owned and run company with questionable production facilities and long term aims. Overall control and funding of the project, ongoing maintenance and end of life removal.
