I strongly oppose the Mallard Pass Solar Farm Application. I disagree with change from countryside to industrial landscape. In recent years it has become even more necessary and valuable to develop agricultural land in order to sustain home-grown produce. The necessary construction requirements will have a massive impact on the local communities, including TRAFFIC, INTRUSION, INCONVENIENCE and NOISE. In addition there will be absolutely no direct benefit to the local communities from the SOLAR ENERGY collected At the end of the proposed productive period - what will happen in order to dismantle and dispose of the panels and supporting equipment? Development of solar energy MUST ONLY be planned using rooftops (which I took advantage of over 12 years ago) if brownfield sites and suitable wasteland is not available. Installation of solar panels should be made compulsory on plans for all new buildings. I will never be persuaded that supporting the Mallard Pass Solar Farm Application would be beneficial to our local communities in Lincolnshire and Rutland and I strongly oppose it.
