I have examined the plans in detail and have attended two in-person consultations at Essendine Village Hall, Mallard Pass Solar Farm Ltd answered my queries satisfactorily and included in there revised designs additional hedging and tree planting by Carlby Road towards Braceborough Wood after I suggested this should be included. Although the extent of the solar farm is large, we have to consider the future and protect our planet & environment; the development of the solar farm will include wildlife enhancements and return intensively farmed agricultural land to a more natural state, reducing runoff and increasing biodiversity. It is our children's future we need to consider not just our own.
