I support the requirement for a solar farm at Mallard pass. However the current peovision of this major infrastructure project being owned by a private company and not the UK government is unacceptable. Firstly, any major project to do with UK energy security that is not held in government hands is a national security risk. Secondly, the local communities most affected by the construction of this project should be compensated for the loss of agricultural land etc by receiving rebates or lower prices on energy bills.
