The main issues I have with the current proposal are: (1) A material increase of flood risk to Greatford which seems to have been totally disregarded by Mallard Pass (2) The scale of the proposal will have a material impact on the local habitat and wildlife (3) Given the vast scale of the proposal including high fencing etc. there it will have a very negative impact on the landscape and surrounding area reducing the enjoyment this area offers. The local landscape will be changed to an industrial-scape (4) During the construction phase and beyond there will be significant increase in pollution from traffic and damage to already poor quality narrow roads. (5) Loss of productive quality agricultural quality land (6) No benefits to the local community with regard to the energy produced or reduction to tariff
