I write with my objection to The Mallard Pass Solar Farm:- 1. This application should not even be considered due to this area being some of the best and most productive farmland in the Country 2. Surely whilst there is currently a global food shortage we cannot afford to lose this amount land 3. 2,238 Acres is far too large, especially so close to villages, it will destroy the visual character of the area along with the loss of various public rights of way and wildlife habitat. 4. Instead of it being environmentally friendly the scale of the thing will have a huge impact on the local roads which will more than counteract any “so called” benefits. 5. Also it isn't even going to be owned by a British Company, I understand the Company state that they are Canadian but are actually owed by China! ...........why on earth do we want to keep putting ourselves at the mercy of other countries. I hope these points will be taken into serious consideration Thank you Catherine Charlton
