If constructed the Mallard Pass solar plant would totally upset the environment of the local rural community to the detriment of the existing inhabitants. It is unclear what benefits would accrue to the wider local community other than to the developers. It has not been clearly demonstrated how this project must be situated in the area suggested which is inhabited by a vigorous local community.
