Loss of good grade agricultural land, increasing the need to import more fresh food produce including wheat, rape, oats, barley etc. The size and scale of the project, the use of ethnic slave labour on extremely low pay to manufacture the panels. Loss of wildlife habitat, panel height (3.3 metres) that can be seen for miles a complete eyesore for residents and passers by. Noise emitted from panel motors, Manufactured with non recyclable materials. No power generated will benefit the Lincolnshire county or Rutland as it will be transferred to London and the South east. Solar panels would interfere with the beautiful landscape least, if they were erected on factory roofs or along the sides of motorways on the banks and verges as in Switzerland. This is surely a far more acceptable option with least disruption to fields and wildlife. Historic walks, bridle ways and ancient footpaths would be lost. All villages around will be affected by HGV traffic, noise, dust, CO2 emissions along narrow country and A roads for 3 years or more.
