Main Concerns The size of the project in a rural location. Coupled with smaller proposals being proposed in Rutland, the whole area is going to be overrun with solar farms. The destruction of good agricultural land for this proposal seems very wrong in the face of current world problems and climate change. The effect the proposal will have on the wildlife and the environment. Concern for the next generation having to destroy a mass of solar panels in 40-50 years time. Landfill? Those choosing to live in the countryside do so because they enjoy observing nature and the seasonal changes on the land. High hedges to block the sight of the solar panels is not a satisfactory substitute for the loss of acres of land and woodland.
