I wholeheartedly object to prime agricultural land being utilised for a solar farm. I also object to the environmental impact this will have on local wildlife, myself, my family and neighbours. This planning application is an abhorrent area of land to cover with solar panels and may well result in adverse effects to the area, including abnormal drainage and localised flooding. I also object to the length of time disruption will be caused to those living locally, whilst the sites are set up. If compulsory purchase orders are granted, I feel that this is an affront to peoples civil liberties. There are many publicly owned buildings throughout this country, where solar panels could be fitted to rooves, such as Police Stations, Swimming Pools, Council Offices, etc and hundreds of sprawling warehouses, the length and breadth of the country, where the fitting of solar panels would have a far less of an impact on the rural environment, than this application will have.
