As a resident I strongly object to this application. The vast scale and its location, nestled amongst several ancient villages will cause traffic chaos on already congested lanes. It is planned to be built on premium farmland which should be used to grow crops. It will displace local wildlife which regarding deer will then add to traffic accidents as they will be forced onto the roads. Solar power is one option for renewal energy but it has a shelf life which will then leave a solar graveyard behind on barren land. The noise and destruction caused to build it will cause disruption and emotional trauma for those impacted. And finally this is not about renewal energy this is about a Canadian and Chinese deal to make money, here in the uk, hiding behind a swiftly set up uk management company. I strongly object to this application.
