I am concerned about the following The noise, pollution, disruption damage across the 2105 acres of site and surrounding areas and the affect not only to local people not the local wildlife which is a diverse mix of flairs and fauna that will be affected and altered both during the contraction works and long beyond. Light reduction of land will affect flora and fauna … Noise pollution given the long working hours proposed Closures of public rights of way and potential for some never to reopen again and no alternatives porpoises to replace those lost No time limit on the site use this could affect future generations of farmers and local / uk growers considerably forcing local farmers out of the area Who will monitor the supply chain are these uk produced solar panels or are they manufactured overseas with a high carbon footprint shipping in from overseas Traceable and traceable supply chain and ethical and sustainable proposals Are the fields leased to the solar company and therefore the farmers get a lease fee or is the land bought by the solar company ? What are the guarantees if farmers want their land back? Will all the workers be trained and sourced locally? Will all the materials, machinery, welfare etc etc be sourced locally? What benefit is there to the local area directly from the proposals? Where /will the electrical output reach the local community ? What happens when the solar cells in the panels degrade? What are the ongoing operational (day to day) duties for the expanse of proposed panels? How will you secure the panels from being stolen / vandalised / terrorist targeted? Where are these security strategies and how do they affect local communities ? What affect will solar glare have on the local area for air traffic/ road users .. where are the water run off calcs for the proposals as there will presumably be a large amount of concrete proposed to stabilise the fixings for the panels? Have section drawings been produced for all fields and topography? And I’m relation to water tables and ground water sources ? Where is the strategy for decommissioning defunct or damaged solar panels or the entire panel farm once no longer efficient? Where will the toxic waste be disposed Where is the strategy to prevent harmful toxic waste or waste leaks into the soil
