The environmental and biodiversity impact would be huge if the development was to go ahead. I am a keen runner based in Stamford. I often run round the areas in question and the proposed solar farm would clearly negatively impact the open, green and uplifting sceneries that many local people enjoy. Relative to the size of the local communities and villages/towns, having the would-be UK's largest solar plant is simply not logical.
