The Company I work for is a registered charity, almost entirely staffed by volunteers from the surrounding area. Our summer season brings over 30,000 people to the area. I wonder what the effect will be to our Company members and our audience members with the years of extensive traffic measures this project will bring with it. Mental health could be severely impacted. For the rest of the year our Company members will be affected with travelling to and from the theatre for rehearsals/work. As an open air theatre, there is also a very real concern about potential noise pollution affecting our performances.
