Mallard Pass Solar Farm. I regularly meet friends in this area to walk our dogs, I cycle through this area of countryside and pass through in the car very frequently. If is beautiful countryside tempting people outside to benefit from fresh air and exercise, if it is covered in solar panels it will not be beautiful and green which will impact our mental health as being outside surrounded by natures colours breathing in fresh air and raising our heart rates is good for our mental and physical health. Areas that benefit huge communities of us in this way should be preserved not covered in solar panels so I do not support the placement of this farm. There is a field of panels the other side of Bourne on the Spalding Road which is an area that no-one walks, cycles or picnics in; areas such as these which we pass through in our cars are ideal for solar panels as they do not impact the enjoyment we have in the way this area most definitely will. Even more ideal would be if each house had to have their own solar panels fitted as this would not affect the land around us, the enjoyment and physical benefits we gain from it or prevent us being a self-sufficient country with the capacity to produce it's own food on the land we have.
