I believe this development will have a significant negative effect on the local environment and the visual amenity of the immediate area. The loss of agricultural land has an impact on the nation's food production and is likely to lead to increased food imports which, with the resulting increase in food miles, has a negative effect on the wider environment. PV is better installed on domestic and industrial roofs or brownfield sites where it can generate electricity without these negative effects.
