I strongly oppose the development of mallard pass solar farm. I believe this would be hugely detrimental to local wildlife, and agriculture. It will also negatively impact the scenery and natural beauty of green land which could be used for farming or to create protected habitats for many local bird species. I am also hugely concerned about tourism to local nearby beauty spot and tourist spot Stamford which will be reduced. Property prices are also likely to be lowered. I'm also concerned about increased crime as the panels are often made of valuable metals and minerals and attract crime. I don't believe there is anyway to secure a plot of this size and any attempt would create an eyesore.
