This project impacts adversely on the availability of farmland in our County. Put simply I am firmly of the belief that valuable agricultural land should not be sacrificed. There are alternatives in other sites from brownfield and industrial to roof tops and new builds. This project must be viewed in conjunction with the other vast solar installations proposed both in the Gainsborough area and in other areas of the County. Lincolnshire farmland is rich and diverse and must not be lost to industrial energy production. Therefore this proposal is unacceptable and should be refused.
