I totally disagree with using high grade agricultural land for these industrial size solar farms. Solar is not a good use of 10,00 acres of prime agricultural land. Wind, nuclear fusion and tidal is a much better way of gathering the energy we need. Solar implementation, on this scale, has an extremely high carbon footprint. Better to use solar panels to cover the large industrial warehouses at the many link ports in the UK, place the solar storage units near the the same warehouses ( they do make an excessive amount of humming noise), because the areas have already been developed, the carbon footprint is reduced to a negligible amount.
