Like the proposed Springwell Solar FACTORY which will be on my doorstep in Scopwick, This monsterous project impacts adversely on the availability of farmland in our County. Valuable agricultural land should not be sacrificed at the time when we are starting to experience food shortages which are the tip of the iceberg. There are alternatives in other sites from brownfield and industrial to roof tops and new builds. This project must be viewed in conjunction with the other vast solar installations proposed both in the Gainsborough area and in other areas of the County. Lincolnshire farmland makes us the garden of England which is rich and diverse and must not be lost to industrial energy production. Therefore this proposal is unacceptable and should be refused. Lincolnshire farmland is being targeted by big business and exploited by greedy landowners looking to profit at all costs. Look at alternatives Rishi or Conservatives will never get back in power for three generations at least, you are allowing this country to fall into the abyss. Lincolnshire must and will stand together to protect the environment we love.
