These huge industrial solar projects on good grade agricultural land is totally inappropriate and should be reconsidered for many reasons. Food security for this country will be threatened if these massive scale projects are allowed to go through. Whilst in favour of renewables there are many alternative potential sites including brownfield land and commercial roofs. The cost to nature, biodiversity, loss of agricultural land not to mention the well-being of local communities is too great and alternatives sites should be considered
