This is just 1 of 4 significant projects within a few miles of each other and as such should be assessed as a one . It is unreasonable to examine these independently given their size and impact on the countryside and environment. Again these structures will not blend into the landscape but dominate it being highly visible from many locations , some of which are designated areas of great landscape value . This is bound to impact negatively on peoples mental health and wellbeing , having a detrimental effect on the enjoyment of the countryside for walking not just the views . Also is it right to lose so much food production land to this sort of project , it will impact on jobs in agriculture and associated trades . The battery energy storage systems will be massive , is it correct that theses be situated so close to residential areas with the inherent fire and chemical risks attached Would it not be better to site these closer to the grid system to avoid further ecological damage . Should this not be on a brown field site , have all the factors like battery storage , generation capabilities and all associated risks been properly communicated by the developers and have these sites been selected on the correct basis having fully assessed any impact or on convenience only .
