I wish to make a representation opposing this last minute change to the routing of the underground cables from Gate Burton to Cottam Power Station. This change will impact Torksey Ferry Road and access to the River Trent. I am concerned about this change causing a further loss of amenity above and beyond that already caused by the Gate Burton and other solar NSIPs. This change will impair access to the Trent area for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. Additionally, it will affect wildlife in the area. The Applicant has consistently failed to provide full details of their scheme, hiding behind a Rochdale Envelope and now wants to make this significant last minute change. This is not a reasonable or professional approach to take.
