The Torksey Ferry road is an area of natural beauty with access for walks from people from Torksey and the villages nearby to areas in the other side of the river Trent (to pubs and lovely red brick villages). This would be a deprivation for us as local residents of a rural area to be unable to walk our dogs and ride our bikes and to have the maxing natural surroundings carved up for cables to be installed and all the wildlife disrupted and their environment severely constrained.
