There really should come a point at which it is considered the devastating effect this whole solar development will have on the surrounding wildlife. The whole construction process including the building/widening of access roads, the laying out of the parks themselves and the delivery and erection of thousands of huge panels will create a devastation to the area's wildlife from which it will take decades to recover. And layered on top of the parks themselves comes this attempt to cause further mayhem along the quiet and unassuming Torksey Ferry Road. People who walk or cycle down this read will be denied the most basic of benefits of living in the countryside. These plans will turn the area in a wildlife dessert and should not be allowed to go ahead.
