The 4th NSI Project on our doorsteps now going to occupy the best part of 7000 to 8000 acres of good quality arable land We will be losing this food production area for 40 years Agriculture in Lincolnshire will vanish This will have a massive impact on the country side, the panels which are 4,5m high will be visible from anywhere on the Lincoln ridge from Kirton Lindsey to Lincoln and possibly further afield along with the 3 other sites ear marked for Solar farms just in the local area, There is no way that these can be obscured by hedges as they will not be allowed to grow in fear of blocking light and shadows. Storage site are a massive concern, these are full of very easily combustible Lithium, posing serious fire hazards and no way to control a fire in the case of an outbreak. There will be massive ecological disruption, Species removed from these site will inevitably die if they return, this has been proven from surveys on other solar sites The specification of solar are far over rated figures are based in June, Not October to march where we have the shortest days coldest and cloud covered days reducing the efficiency to 10-12% at the best, This in when we need the energy for lighting and heating, this leads me to research wind turbines and they are far superior to solar, based off shore so no loss to the Agriculture and arable land farmers. It seems that brownfield sites have been totally ignored for the projects, surely that would make more sense to supplement wind turbines. Island green seem to ignore any questions that have been emailed to them with regards to drainage, flooding, close proximity of panels and storage to properties,( about 30m from my property) RF and electromagnetic interference, CCTV, disruption of the locality , wildlife and habitats visual impacts and seem to think they can do as they like without proper consultation with anyone All the panels will come from the far east, Lithium for storage will destroy the argentine salt flats as there is not sufficient around the world for all these projects, then leave other countries with piles of waste thats non recyclable, exploited workers and the like I think people ought to have a real look at the impacts and down sides to these projects
