Precious agricultural land should not be used for solar panels. The land should be used to grow food for people and wildlife and/or to grow trees to absorb carbon and support wildlife. Solar panels should be built in redundant cityscapes or on roofs of buildings. There is an ever-reducing amount of land in our densely-populated country. The developers of solar farms are taking the easy option and should be made to think harder.
