I keep reading about how there is a huge movement to protect nature in most parts of the country. There are rewinding schemes,an encouragement not to mow grass in May,schemes to protect wildlife, NHS advice to walk,cycle in the countryside as therapy for stress. But not here. You plan to destroy 10,000 acres of beautiful countryside and consequently to destroy the wildlife. It will be industrialised beyond repair. Are there not better places on which to place the solar panels for example on derelict land and on the roofs of buildings and not in the rich and beautiful agricultural land around Stow, Coates and Gate Burton for example. The project is vast and destructive. There is no need to destroy the countryside to gain the electricity. PLEASE reconsider this huge wanton destruction of our country side.
