I feel the use of farmland has not been considered & that the impact on food production may not be immediate but it will have an adverse impact in years to come. Farmers are in a win win situation as they will only need to work the land to a minimum once these solar panels are in place and jobs in farming will be lost forever along with these farming skills. Most of the general public will not be aware that our power consumption will not be reduced in cost, however large pension company scheme are investing in these schemes will be making a massive for their own profits. I also feel that the government should help individuals & business to in stall solar panels on property’s, but this will not happened because there’s no profit for the larger investment companies & it’s not going to be passed onto the general public who will be hit the hardest with energy bills. Who are the winners in all of this?
