This project needs to be considered alongside all the other huge solar projects planned in the local area. These combined will destroy the naturally beeautiful countryside as well as put many tenant farmers out of business and reduce our food security. In the mad dash towards Net Zero scientific literacy seems to have been thrown out the window - until, suitable cost effective energy storage mediums are invented this type of power generation is totally sub-optimal, producing power at times when it is not needed and not producing when it is. Nuclear is the only sensible option and these renewables are a foolish distraction which cover a huge area of land to produce a disproportionately small amount of energy at non useful times. They will make the area ugly. They will put local people out of work. They will reduce food security but not noticably increase energy security. The sheer scale of these combined plans is mind blowing and will impact so many people negatively and a very small number of wealthy investors positively.
