This scheme is wholly disproportionate and when considered alongside neighbouring solar array schemes creates environmental, ecological, highways and economic impacts with the potential to do irreversible damage to already struggling communities. The road networks accessing the site are predominantly single track, passing through small hamlets and wholly unsuited for construction traffic. The loss of high quality farm land will result in the loss of employment and in some cases tenure. The energy generated is not for local use but will be exported back across the river Trent.
