Though West Burton is not as close to where I live, I oppose the project as part of the four solar projects all very close together in our area. We will lost approx 10,000 acres of productive farmland in West Lindsey, with another 10,000 acres across Lincolnshire. We seem to be an easy target. Why are solar panels not being put on large commercial buildings across the country and newbuild housing as in other countries? It is a strategic folly, we are an 'easy' option for developers. It will decimate our beautiful countryside and our rural communities in this area of W Lindsey. We need productive farmland in this country to be used for agriculture so that we are not reliant on other countries for our food production. We do NOT need 10,000 acres+ taken up with inefficient solar.
