This will be opposite my house on a busy main road. I am worried about the constant noise of lorries and construction which will disturb me, my disabled family member who has constant sleeping problems, and my horses which also live at the same property. There is a lot of wildlife there especially in and around the Moat. This project will disturb needing birds and all the ducks living in the Moat, as well as all the deer that live in the woods around it and on the field across the road from me. If the solar panels are going to be fenced, as I understand they will be, the deer will be unable to access their habitat and will be of great danger of causing accidents trying to cross the 60mph A1500 to find new areas to live. The hedge on that field has also never been cut by the landowner, it is very tall and looks as though it may collapse in places, so this may block light or damage any solar panels that are there. Lincolnshire is prime agricultural land due to its flatness and as such these projects should be considered for land that has little other use of possible. The population is growing and we all need food to be more self sufficient as a country. The solar panels in all of these massive projects will disturb the locals of many villages between Lincoln and Gainsborough, but yet we will never get any benefit from them. The cost of living, especially energy, is astronomical for most people at the moment, resulting in a decrease in quality of life due to reduced spending power. The money made by the companies from these vast solar fields will be pocketed and all the locals disturbed by this and seeing their views and local wildlife damaged for it will not receive and recompense and I highly doubt our energy bills will go down in any way either. Therefore it is damaging local peoples way of life, the habitat of wildlife, and yet we will see no benefits from this either, as our energy bills will still be high.
