This would completely ruin the rural community I call home. It would increase food insecurity. It would take away beautiful countryside from people who live here and enjoy walking dogs, riding bikes with their children, enjoying a peaceful life. The build element of the proposed project would cause lots of disruption and risk. The lanes are too narrow for large vehicles to pass and would without doubt cause an accident in places where children and young people cycle. It feels like the priorities of the few are being put above the needs of the many. I am an advocate of solar energy, I have them on my own house. I believe the climate crisis that we face is real and that urgent action should be taken. But this is not the solution. This is a means for private companies to profit. It is not a thought out strategy.
