I strongly object to this proposal. It would mean a great loss of good farmland and a loss of jobs in the farming sector. Loss of important open space (highlighted as essential in the Local Plan) could increase mental health issues. Hedges would be torn up and wildlife would suffer greatly. There would be an increased risk to health (cancer in particular), leading to extra burden on our already overstretched nhs.
