Much like everyone in the Broxholme area the idea in theory of the West Burton Power Plant Regeneration is interesting in moving the UK off fossil fuels. The impact of solar panels and this plant at large I am hugely sceptical about. Moreover this is about farm land, amid the rhetoric that we have a dwindling food supply. This project affects this negatively. This is about wildlife, and the preservation of lush habitats. This tears that up in place of metal structures which will supposedly make our green future brighter. Whilst our birds, insects and wildlife die. I reject the idea proposed by the many leaflets that animals thrive under solar panels. To this project I among others whose lives this directly affect are not convinced.
