This is not a single application, it is a vast amalgamation of at least 4 currently, and potentially many more in the pipeline. Therefore to comment on this in isolation is simply bureaucratic nonsense. The impact of these developments - including Gate Burton is to destroy productive arable farmland, destroy natural ecosystems, decimate employment, families and homes and devalue the whole area. Turning Lincolnshire into the Solar arm of the UK does not solve the energy crisis for the country, where does food security come in. Many questions remain purposefully unanswered from this proposal, what is the carbon footprint impact of the construction , including all of the trial digs, traffic and surveys that have already taken place? What is the total lifecycle carbon footprint of this whole project? What is the actual profit and return on investment for those companies and individuals that own these companies? There are many longer term safety issues that have not been answered, merely guessed at? how safe are these batteries - what is the consequence of fires? This is a life and death decision for these areas, animals, ecosystems and communities, none of this guess work would stand up in any expected court where the balance of truth would be weighed against benefit. This suggests that these decisions are given to benefit finances for a few rather than actually tackle any climate change issues. There are many areas that could be explored before productive arable land is taken for solar panels. Farm and commercial building roofs, properly insulated net zero standard houses being built that have very little energy needs. A requirement for all new houses to be built to these standards. This is a greenwashing project, the proposals treat the whole area with distain with their bias views and guess work. I support green energy. This is not a green energy project, therefore I absolutely disagree with this project.
