I strongly OBJECT to this scheme for the following reasons, 1. The Visual Impact The panels located on the Aldington Ridge will have a significant impact on our rural amenity. Screening high areas is impossible The landscape visualisations presented at the consultation were very misleading Taking the panels off the high ground will preserve best and most versatile agricultural land, potential archaeological sites and nesting sites for skylarks. 2. Batteries There has been no meaningful consultation on batteries particularly regarding fire risk, noise and visual impact. There is no justification of scattergun placement rather than a single enclosure. The vast majority of batteries are with 300m of houses. 3. Public Rights of Way This scheme will affect at least 12 ancient public rights of way and will ruin the enjoyment of walking Public Footpaths. 4. Biodiversity The development will impact important species like Skylark, Yellowhammer and Brown Hare. 5. Impact on individuals The scheme will have an unacceptable affect on certain residents.
