I feel this project is by far too large & will significantly impact on the surrounding wildlife & habitats. The impact of the build process will drive out the delicate wildlife. Solar has been seen to disrupt the bat population, reducing activity. Bats can be frequently seen at dusk & throughout the nighttime in this area. The location in relation to the existing roads & angle of the panels will cause a glare hazard to vehicle drivers at certain times of day & year. Aldington is surrounded by beautiful countryside with meadows, farm land, this inturn carries a level of support for local jobs as well as businesses. Turning this land over to static land which if completed will be detrimental to this, reducing the need for the labour from farm workers. The whole quintessential & tranquil village in the garden of england would be best known for the "massive solar installation" instead an "eye sore"! The project is driven by greed & money not for any best interests of our villagers & children to live & grow up. I'm all for reducing the impact of humans on the environment & for green energy generation, but this is not the way & fails to complement, be considerate to our area. Our ability & ingenuity to do this & lead the way to integration of these systems is by far being tested with this project & very much an embarrassment in years to come when all these PV farms reach their end of life, an environmental ticking time bomb which has the ability to damage our mental health & well being .
