This proposal is far too big and too close to the village. It comes right into the core village, both Bank Road and Goldwell Lane being heavily used by local traffic. The entrance to Fields 20,21 and 22 is unacceptably close to Aldington Primary School and will completely ruin AE474 - probably the most important Public Right of Way in the village. The strategy of scattering batteries and inverters across the main body of the proposed site is detrimental to our countryside. Aldington has always ben a place that is characterised by long views across rolling open agricultural land. This proposal will change that for ever. I am not against solar purse, indeed benefit from it on my own property. However, flat land use is very different from placing solar production on hillsides. We will all see this installation every time we enter the village. The nature, size and scale of the batteries and inverters along with the horrendous metal security fencing will industrialise the whole area, making Aldington a place to avoid not to visit.
